Design: The Bombardier Beetle!

The tiny Bombardier Beetle is an amazing display of God’s creative genius! Read this and find out why.

The Bombardier Beetle is a remarkable tiny critter. It has a twin tail pipe containing two chemicals- hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinone. When these chemicals come in contact with each other, they explode. The blast at boiling temperature will drive away an enemy. That’s good. However, he doesn’t want to go blasting through the day; he wants to blast only when an enemy comes. That would be bad. He ‘happens’ to have an inhibitor mixed with the chemicals so that the reaction with not take place. That’s bad if he can’t ever blast. But he also produces an anti-inhibitor to counteract the inhibitor when he needs to blast an enemy. That’s good! The tail pipes are also insulated so he doesn’t cook himself. That’s also good! But a blast like that would shoot him in the opposite direct by the law of action and reaction, wouldn’t it? That’s bad. Remarkably, the beetle is able to blast in pulses, reducing the reaction force. It can even aim the blast in virtually any direction. That’s also good.
If he were not made fully functional in the beginning, he would certainly have been eaten or blown up before all the parts worked properly. No one could deny this was designed, could they? Yes, for some are ‘willingly ignorant’ the Bible says. One website had a proposed 15 step evolutionary process to explain how he could have survived until he worked properly. A far better explanation is that a wise and powerful Creator made him in the beginning fully functioning just as he does today.
