Design #56- Who’s the Fool?

Creationists have been called some pretty mean things. Stupid is one of them. But what does God say about it?

Richard Dawkins, evolution evangelist, said, “It is absolutely safe to say that, if you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid, or insane (or wicked, but I’d rather not consider that.)”
Paul said, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” (Romans 1:19-22)
We all must decide which of these two is correct. They can’t both be right. Either the creationist is an ignorant fool, or the evolutionist is. But, besides the fact he wrote under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, after 55 articles that randomly touched the natural world of physical and biological science in many areas, the evidence is overwhelmingly on Paul’s side, wouldn’t you say?
For example, consider the human body. How can anyone explain its complexity apart from a Designer and Creator? My 3000 in2 of skin contain fingerprints that are unique to me, different from 24 billion fingerprint variations. I have 600 muscles containing 6 billion fibers each of which can support 1000 times its own weight. Many of them move my bones that can hold pressures up to 1200 lbs/in2, much stronger than an equal weight of steel. My body makes 3 billion cells each minute, each one containing the exact DNA coding that I had in my first cell. My digestive system is able to take in the complex chemicals of food, break them down into simple chemicals, absorb them, and then remake the parts into the cells, energy, and storage fat I need. My heart beats 100,000 times a day, forcing 4 quarts of blood through 70,000 miles of blood vessels to virtually every cell in my body. My 25 trillion blood cells live about three months carrying oxygen, removing waste, and protecting me. Then they are replaced by new ones made in my long bones using recycled material from the liver, at a rate of 200 billion each day. My brain sends messages at 252 miles/hour through 90,000 miles of nerve fiber to maintain independent movement, yet this is only a fraction of the work the brain does.
Secular books on the body talk about its wonder, its marvel, its miraculous nature, and then proceed to attribute all this to the chance accidents that supposedly explain evolution.  Based on the evidence from the body alone, who would you judge to be the real fool?
