Consider this syllogism

Consider this syllogism:  grammar is to good writing as doctrine is to Christian living
You can write without knowing grammar, but the better to you know it, the better you are able to express yourself in a way that is clear, concise, and acceptable in form to others using the same language. So you can live right without being able to enumerate doctrine but the more doctrine you know, the better you are able to explain what and why you believe what you believe.
